Tiago Cardoso

Tiago Cardoso has an MA in Translation Studies from NOVA University of Lisbon and is a member of the Translationality research strand. In his research he seeks to observe how translation can help us understand history and culture, focusing especially on the Anglosphere (England/British Empire, US, Australia). His Master’s thesis explores the (in)visibility of the translator in late 19th century US, with Edgar Saltus’ works as case studies.
