Jéssica Moreira

Hi! My name is Jéssica Moreira and I’m a 22 years-old Master Student in Anglo-American Studies at University of Porto’s  Faculty of Arts. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy by the same institution and am currently writing my dissertation on the role of art and the spaces of art in the utopian genre, also concerning the relation between memory and history both in literature and contemporary spaces of art. I am currently working as a Junior Researcher in Anglo-American Studies at CETAPS (Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies) under a traineeship endorsed by ALB (Associação Luso-Britânica). My areas of interest include utopian and dystopian studies, spatial studies, American literature, subcultural studies, aesthetics, literary theory and cinema.
