Teresa Coelho is a senior lecturer at the School of Education and Social Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre (IPPortalegre). She holds an MA in Teaching Foreign Language Literatures from the University of Extremadura, Spain. She co-coordinated IPPortalegre’s Languages and Cultures Centre (CLiC) with Margarida Coelho from 2010 to 2015. She has been working in Foreign Language Teachers’ Training since 1990 and has experience as the coordinator of an FL Bachelor degree and a post-graduation program in Teaching English in Primary Education. She has also been involved in EU-funded applied research projects focusing on teacher training and CLIL. Her main interests include Foreign Language Teaching and Learning, Teaching English to Young Learners, CLIL at preschool, primary education, and tertiary level, as well as Gender and Post-colonial Studies.
