Ana Matos

Ana Gonçalves Matos is assistant professor at the Department of Modern Languages, Cultures and Literatures of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nova University Lisbon. She is the Coordinator of two Masters in ELT. She also participates with a seminar in the PhD Languages Teaching – Multilingualism and Education for a Global Citizenship. She coordinates pre- service teacher training and supervises several PhD and MA theses.
She is a Researcher at CETAPS, where she integrates the TEALS (Teacher Education and Applied Language Studies) research group, and coordinates the strand entitled Intercultural Studies in Second Language Education. Two Erasmus Plus Projects she is currently involved with are: CANDIICE (Creative Approaches to New Democracy through Innovative Inclusive Citizenship Education) and ICEPELL (Intercultural Citizenship Education through Picturebooks in early English Language Learning).
