Margarida Coelho

Margarida Coelho holds a PhD in Languages and Cultures by the Universidad de Extremadura and an MA in English Literature and Culture by the University of Lisbon. She is a senior lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre (IPP), School of Technology and Management (ESTG) where she teaches English Language/ Technical English and is a member of the Technical-Scientific Council and of the Ethics Committee. As Coordinator of the Languages and Culture Centre (CLiC) of the Institute from 2010 to 2015 and presently as IPP representative in ReCLes.pt (Associação de Redes dos Centros de Línguas do Ensino Superior em Portugal), she has been deeply involved in the promotion of languages learning among the students of the Institute and in the community. She has participated in several EU-funded applied research projects in the areas of CLIL, ICLHE. Researcher at CETAPS, and member of the Working CLIL Research Strand, she has developed her research and published in the areas of teacher training and language methodologies, particularly CLIL/ICLHE.
